Hi! My name is Meghan Ansbach, and I am a 30 year old native of the New Jersey shore who is now living in Chicago.
I have been a comic book fan for most of my life at this point, starting when I was 12 years old sharing X-Men comics with my brother, up until just this past Wednesday when I am sure I bought the most recent issue of Uncanny X-Men, or X-Men Legacy, or X-men sans adjective, or anything else this includes both an X and a dash in its title. I attend at least four large scale comic book conventions each year, and while part of the reason is to see dear friends who live in far away lands, it is also largely because of my eternal state of fandom.
In 2009 I started drawing my own mini comics thanks to the encouragement of several friends, all of which are primarily autobiographical though they may not all be rooted in reality. In 2010 I undertook a project to draw a panel a day for the entire year. In 2011 I decided that I might take these comics a little bit more seriously and I decided to dust off my ten year old website and make it a little more relivant.
