In 2010 I drew a panel a day for the entire year.
The project was inspired by the sweeping trend on Flickr where friends of mine would post a self portrait every day for a year, though many had assumed I was trying to follow in the foot steps of James Kochalka’s American Elf series. I started this project during the third week of January 2010 and finished it on January 1, 2011, but please note that I often fell behind and only twice were my panels current.
Many asked if I was going to continue the project for 2011, which I quicly said “no!” to. I do hope to one day do something similar, though maybe I’ll move up to a mini three or four panel comic every day as opposed to just the one. Maybe.
All panels will be collected in a book I am working on, but for now you can preview the following months.
